Asymmetric skyscraper will be constructed in New York

In New York construction of 57-storeyed inhabited skyscraper has been started at Leonard Street. According to designers from Swiss architectural bureau Herzog and de Meuron asymmetrical forms will become distinctive feature of the building.
Skyscraper will have 135 apartments - two- and five-sleeping residences - and ten penthouses, which would deviate from 133 up to 592 square meters. Premises will be non-uniformly put against each other due to what the unusual form of a high-altitude building will be reached. It will be possible to get an exclusive apartment in this skyscraper just for 33 million dollars.
The building will be built in the fourth quarter 2010.
