The highest skyscrapers of the world
22 February 2008American Forbes magazine has made the list of the highest skyscrapers in the world. The first place has been given to 508-meter Taipei 101, constructed in 2004 in Taiwan.
Petronas Twin Towers in Malaysia are on the second and third place. The height of two towers constructed in 1998, makes 452 meters. Sears Tower to Chicago (USA) is On the fourth place. The height of a skyscraper reaches 442 meters.
Following highest skyscrapers are Chinese Jinmao Building, Two International Finance Center, Citic Plaza, and Shun Hing Square.
Ninth place has been given to the well-known American skyscraper Empire State Building (New-York, USA). The height of the building, constructed in 1931, makes 381 meter. The tenth position is given to the skyscraper from China – Central Plaza (Hong Kong).
The buildings constructed in Dubai, the USA, the United Arab Emirates and Taiwan have also entered into the twenty.
