Morgan Stanley will buy skyscraper in Berlin

Berlin tower Sony Center, where the European headquarters of corporation Sony is located, will be sold to investment bank Morgan Stanley and two more firms – Corpus Sireo and the companies, affiliated with The John Buck.
The skyscraper has been exposed on sale in October, 2007. The sum of the transaction is not disclosed, however, earlier experts estimated cost of skyscraper at the Potsdam square in 600-700 million euro.
It is known, that only investments into Sony Center construction have made 750 million euro.
The transaction should be completed till March, 31st, 2008. After that Sony will remain the tenant of a building, where except for offices of corporation, the headquarters of concern Deutsche Bahn, and also elite apartments, restaurants and a cinema will be also settled down.
