United Arab Emirates face problems with Burj Dubai construction
6 March 2008Company Emaar Properties, which is constructing the highest building in the world - skyscraper Burj Dubai in Dubai, has declared that it will not have time to finish works in time.
With such application chairman of company Emaar Mohammed Alabbar has acted. The reasons of delay are not informed. It is known, that the last November works on skyscraper construction have been interrupted because of nearby 40 thousand building workers strike.
Thus, Burj Dubai will be constructed not earlier than in spring 2009, instead of to Christmas of this year, as it was planned earlier.
Now Burj Dubai’s height makes about 600 meters.
