Moscow: one more crisis in the real estate market
14 March 2008The question is if there is in the market a rise in prices? According to statistics, which is based on offers, growth is rather significant. And transactions in the market practically does not occur, the volume of the offer has fallen up to minimal.
As a whole across Moscow from the beginning of 2008 the rise in price has made from 5 up to 10 % in dollars.
According to weekly monitoring the offer of the real estate on sale in Moscow, carried out by consulting company Russian Research Group (RRG), rates of a gain of the prices for capital real estate of economy class have grown (measurement goes in dollars). Thus, during last quarter 2007 cost of square meter has risen on 10,5 %, and since January, 2008, this growth has made 4 %. For two weeks of February cost of square meter has increased on 3,4 %. Thus, in the middle of February the price of the offer of capital real estate of economy class has exceeded $4,9 thousand for square meter, and till the end of month cost of square meter has reached $5 thousand
Similar results are offered with portal irn.ru, which writes that only for last week of February the average level of real estate prices in capital has added almost 2 % and has closely come nearer to a mark in 5.000 items (equal actually to dollar).
