Only 13 % of Russians plan to buy real estate objects till 2015
1 April 2008Russian public opinion center has submitted data on what part of Russians is going to get habitation in the near future and for what purposes why a part interrogated does not plan purchase of habitation.
Opportunities of Russians, concerning purchase of new habitation, are rather stable. As well as in 2007, today only 13 % of Russians plan to improve the living conditions and to get habitation in the nearest future (from 1 till 7 years).
In 2008 more respondents plan to get habitation for personal residing, than it was in 2007 (47 % against 30 %), whereas the desire to get a living space for residing the family has considerably decreased (from 36 % up to 22 %).
In comparison with 2007 the quantity of Russians, who wish to get habitation for the children (about 9 % up to 15 %) has increased.
This year the quantity of those respondents, who are quite satisfied with present living conditions, has also increased and they do not see necessity for their improvement (from 47 % up to 59 %).
There are no changes in Russians’ plans concerning hypothec crediting. Shares of the respondents, who are not trusting to the state systems of hypothec crediting, considering high percent under the credit, practically have not changed in 2008 in comparison with the last year.
Respondents became a little more mobile. Only 2 % (unlike 5 % in 2007) mark, that they would not get habitation as they are frightened of further difficulties and they have got used to the house.
