Real estate in Bulgaria sharply rises in price

According to National statistical institute of Bulgaria, the prices for real estate in the country in the first quarter 2008 have grown on 7 %.
The average price of square meter of habitation in the country has reached 1,3 thousand euro. In 2007 this figure made 737 euros for one square meter, in 2006 - 624 euros.
The highest prices are being fixed in Sofia, the capital of the country, and in the resort city of Varna. The rise in prices is promoted by stable demand for habitation from solvent buyers and the insufficient offer.
It is expected, that by the end of 2008 of the price for habitation in Sofia will grow on 20 % in annual calculation.
